As part of our commitment to developing and nurturing talent, at HEX Graphics, we run a Graphics and Signage Apprenticeship Course. 

The 24-month course teaches apprentices the ins and outs of signage, branding and graphics application, providing them with time and mentoring in each vital area of our graphics business. 

As we welcome our latest apprentice to take on the course, in this blog, we break down some of the areas our apprentices work in:

Production Facility

The backbone of our business is our production team, who ensure that the vinyl and graphics we apply are produced to the highest standard. Our apprentices spend time here to get an insight into the importance of production, get to know the machines we use, learn about different materials and why we use them and understand our processes. 

Our experienced production team provides our apprentices with the tips and techniques they'll find essential during their careers. 

Planning and Main Office

Keeping our ship sailing smoothly is our planning and management team. In their office, positioned next to our production facility, the team creates meticulous schedules to ensure that our customers' projects are turned around to the promised timeframes. 

The team manages our relationship with our current customers, kick-starting projects with new enquiries, and day-to-day running of the entire team. 

Here, our apprentices learn the importance of project management, consulting with new customers to ensure they get the most out of the vehicle wrap as possible, and building relationships with our customers. 

Shop Floor 

The shop floor is where the magic happens; our team transforms plain vehicles in masterpieces here. 

Our shop floor is a hive of activity, from small fleets and single vehicles to some of the UK's biggest fleets. We are fortunate to have some of the UK's most skilled and experienced wrapping installers in our team, who share their knowledge and techniques with our apprentices.

During their course, our apprentices spend time on the shop floor learning the entire process of installing vehicle graphics, including essential stages like preparing and cleaning a vehicle before applying graphics.
