As a graphics administrator, Emma Johnson joined the HEX Graphics team in April 2022. Her job is to deal with customer enquiries, purchase materials and update stock lists, invoice customers, dispatch orders, update worklists, arrange off-site fitting schedules, update the web portal with new customers and liveries, support fitters with artwork images – anything to help the team to work effectively.

Emma says, "When I left school, I started nurse training, completing a Diploma in Adult health before realising it wasn't for me. I had a break from education whilst having my family, and when the boys started school, I went into the classroom as a parent volunteer. I enjoyed working with the children, so I decided to become a teacher. I completed a BSc in Computer Science at Staffordshire University and a PGCE with the University of Roehampton to become a qualified secondary school teacher and taught for 16 years. After COVID-19 and working from home, I wanted more time for family life."

When asked where do you see yourself in a few years? Emma said, "I'd love to know more about graphics, as it's a totally new industry. I need to understand different materials, how they work on vehicles, and what fitting environment is required to produce the amazing vehicle transformations we can achieve. I love the work environment and learning from the team around me."

"In my spare time, I enjoy holidaying in different countries, touring in my caravan in the UK, walking, swimming, running, reading and knitting – it's not just for older people! I also enjoy nights out with friends eating and hitting the dancefloor."
